Goodwill offers free high school diploma program

Adults who want to earn a high school diploma can apply for a new, free service offered by Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia.

In partnership with Camden County College, Goodwill’s Helms Academy offers general adult education and employment services that help individuals fulfill the necessary academic requirements to get their diploma while also earning college credits.

The academy, at 222 White Horse Pike in Stratford, Camden County, is accepting applications for enrollment. Day and night classes are offered, and many courses also are available online.

Students age 18 and older are accepted on a rolling basis as space is limited.

The academy provides a self-paced approach to learning. All college credit coursework is offered by Camden County College. Another Helms site will  open soon at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
